About Us
We are De Montfort University's LAN & Console Gaming Society, also known as the Demon Gamers. Our existence is purely to get together and play video games of all types; PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, we can even occasionally slip in some old time favourites.
We meet every week on Tuesdays at 17:30 on the 6th floor of Gateway House. Membership will be required after week 3. Membership costs £10 and can be purchased at the reception on level 1.
The Demon Gamers are the only De Montfort University Society dedicated to gaming who welcome everyone whether you be a hardcore gamer or casual gamer.We gather weekly during University term times and game together also visiting nearby Universities and attending their LAN's. Although gaming is our primarily reason for gathering we also socialise down the pub and plan other social events, popular ones have included: Laserquest, Go Karting, Paintballing, Leicester nightclubs and Kibworth Shooting Ground of which each year keep getting better and better.
