Nominations & Results for Committee 2010-2011
« on: March 02, 2010, 07:11:49 pm »
Nominations for 2010-2011 are closed.

Nominations are open for the next committee for the Demon Gamers. The only requirements are individuals are still students at DMU. Students on placement still count as students, and therefore you're allowed to be nominated, but you'll only be considered if your placement is in Leicester.

There are 4 positions on the committee:

* Chairperson
* Gaming Officer - organises LAN trips, weekly gaming sessions, and possible DMU LANs
* Social Officer - organises weekly social (read: pub) meetings, trips out including paintballing, go karting, etc.
* Health and Safety Officer

HOW TO NOMINATE YOURSELF/OTHERS
Lists are being made available in weekly gaming sessions on Tuesdays for the next 2 weeks. If you're unable to make Tuesdays, you can email demongamers@yahoo.co.uk or PM Kweiming on the forum.

You may nominate yourself or anyone else for any position. Additionally you may nominate the same person for many positions.

Being on a society commitee looks great on your CV and is rewarding stuff. So get nominating now!

It's probably prudent to list the next committee as a result of nominations and interviews.

Chairperson
GiantEnemyCrab

Gaming Officer
imoneofthem

Technical Officer
DeeEmmSee (formerly Wildfang (formerly DeeEmmSee))

Social Officer
Skeleton Fossil

Health and Safety Officer
birch

The transition from the 09/10 to 10/11 committee started in April and will be complete in September when the new academic year starts.
